Missions
The mission of the Nouragues research station is to support scientific research in the Amazon rainforest.
It is a platform for the acquisition of general and multidisciplinary knowledge on the study of the link between the dynamics, evolution and functioning of Amazonian ecosystems and biodiversity. Its missions are based on several strengths:
Observe
To be a prime location for long-term observation of Amazon ecosystems and biodiversity
Monitoring
Commitment to continuous improvement in scientific, technical, regulatory and prevention aspects in isolated environments

Encouraging innovative research projects and opening up new dimensions of exploration

Provide a quality working and living environment conducive to scientific creativity and the establishment of constructive links between station users.
